Here are a couple of shots of this weekend. It was so nice to see all my siblings. I don't get to see them very often.

How old does that make me???

My baby brother is getting married tomorrow. On 9-10-11.

Sometimes it is hard to grasp the fact that he isn't my "baby" brother anymore. He is ,in fact, my grown up 25 year old brother. I love his soon-to-be wife and couldn't be happier for them. I wish them the very best.....and lots and lots of babies!!!! ( my kids need more cousins)

Goodbye 20's......

Today is my birthday. Not just any birthday. My 30th birthday. I always wondered if this would be a hard birthday , but so far, I think, I am happy to be 30.
There are some perks. I can now say, "When I was in my 20's......", I get to check a new age group category ( 30-35), and I still have 10 years to prepare for my 40's . If I look back on the past decade of my life, I realize how much really has happened to me.

I was married at the (young) age of 20.
I am still married, and shockingly for our day and age....I am Happily Married!

I became a Mother! I rate this as one of the most important things to happen to me in my entire life, let alone my 20's. I have 4 wonderful children.

My hair is falling out by-the-way. A huge THANK YOU to Zoey and my post pregnancy hormones for that. I had forgotten that this happens. It's lots and lots of fun.

In the past 10 years I have gained some:
I don't claim that I am wise. I am not. But I have progressed slowly through this past decade and I am now a much better person than I was at the age of 20. I have so many people to thank for that. All those wonderful people around me who are examples and who have taught me so much. My husband being the "numero UNO" of examples in the past 10 years.

In case you didn't know already.......

So I really have no reason to complain about turning 30. I am truly grateful for my 20's and I hope that my 30's are just as amazing.

School Time!

Max and Ava started school! Max is a 1st grader and Ava is in pre-school. Both kids LOVED their first day of school and I think they'll have a great time this year. They both have awesome teachers and have already made friends.
