Sometimes "bath time" can get a little monotonous so we deciding to throw some glow sticks in and turn off the lights. Kids loved it and were entertained for a long time. Good "clean" fun!
One fine day....I stumbled onto a really cool blog ( link HERE) and I was inspired to try and make Max a Harry Potter Quilt. This is done by paper-piecing, and it can be time consuming.....but also addicting. I am working really slowly on this project and hopefully I can have it done some day......I really like paper piecing quilts because it is a great way to use up extra scraps of fabric lying around.
We had a wonderful Christmas and it was so nice to be so close to both Matt's parents and mine. We were expecting our Delta Christmas this year to be cold....but the weather was so warm and sunny. It was great because Max and Ava got scooters and Isaac got a bike and they were able to take them to Grandma and Grandpa's and play outside on Christmas day. We had fun spending time with Liz and Ben and cute little Reid. Phil and Kristina were there too and all that was missing was Jon and Mel and kids. We went down to St. George to spend time with my family after Christmas ( forgot my camera) and we had so much fun playing Rock Band with Grandma and Grandpa Evans and Aunt Erin. It was great holiday break and it was truly heavenly to have so much time together.
