For those of you that don't know, Matt and I are really into Geocaching. We like to go explore and find geocaches when we have free time. We wanted to introduce Matt's family to fun of Geocaching too.....so that is what we did over Easter weekend. We got our coordinates for the Geocache and took off. The first clue was on this cement pole.
Scott ( Matt's dad), Phil ( Matt's bro), and Matt reading the clue.

We found the Cache and it was a blast spending time with the family. This is not the only one we found during Easter weekend. We found 4 total and saw some amazing things in the process. For those of you that don't know much about Geocaching, you can learn more here about what it is.

I want to get into geocaching too. I downloaded a bunch to my GPS, but haven't gone to find them yet. Looks like fun.
Hi Laura, the previous comment, from anonymous, was from Bryce. We've been wanting to get out geocaching and he got the bug to go again when he read your blog. He actually woke me up from my nice Saturday afternoon nap to go tromp through some marshy land in the freezing cold wind. It wouldn't have been bad except that I had just barely fallen asleep when he woke me up to go and the wind was blowing so cold and hard. I'll let you know how it goes for us as we get into it more.
It sounds like you had a blast. I know Matt was checking out a whole bunch in our area when you were hear. I'd love to do it too. I think it would be a real stress-buster. Maybe someday we will be able to join the adventures.
Love Mom
