Play Time

While the boys are away the girls will play! ....and by play, I mean decorate. Matt had his annual fishing trip to Boulder with his friends and brother. Max , of course, went along and that left me alone for the weekend and I decided to tackle some projects. Staci, my bestie, came to Delta to help me decorate the girls room and we ended up decorating the living room some too. It's still a work in progress , but I LOVED having Staci here to help me paint and to give me advice on everything. She is so talented at making things look good. We had a blast decorating and I must say we worked pretty hard to get it all done. My awesome mother and father-in-law watched Isaac and Ava so we could get more done. My living room colors are black with red accents , but I wanted to add some punch of color. So I added some yellow and it sure brightened up the room. I'll start with a couple of fun things we changed in the living room....

We spray painted an ugly frame and put some fabric rosettes on it. I still need to put in a photo though....
Along with the same theme we framed the fabric to bring some more yellow into the room.
I found this magazine stand at a yard sale for $2 and I painted it yellow and glazed it. I am going to put some flowers in it....
I am going to make some throw pillows.....IF I ever get a minute....
We are renting the cute little house we live in so I can't really paint the walls, so I love adding the color in other places to make it look better.

Here is the GIRL's ROOM....
Here is Zoey's crib painted Green and rubbed with black glaze.
Ava's headboard painted to match.
We had fun with COLOR and painted the frames different colors and framed fabric and scrapbook paper.
Ava's side of the room.

I still need to paint the dresser white and add some decorations to Ava's headboard, but the room turned out adorable thanks to STACI!!!
